Solana Foundation fixes vulnerability in the Token-2022 standard confidential transfer feature.

According to Gate.io News bot and TheBlock, the Solana Foundation discovered a zero-day vulnerability in the "Confidential Transfer" feature of the Token-2022 standard on April 16. This vulnerability involves the forgery of zk-SNARKs, leading to security risks such as unlimited minting or asset theft.

The foundation took rapid response measures, closely cooperating with validators to complete the repair work within two days without disclosing the details of the vulnerability. The Solana Foundation confirmed that there have been no instances of fund loss or exploitation of the vulnerability to date.
