OMFIF Survey: 70% of Central Banks are Reluctant to Invest in USD Due to the Political Environment in the US, and 32% of Reserve Managers Plan to Increase the Proportion of Gold Allocation Within 1-2 Years.

PANews June 24 news, according to the latest survey by the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF), due to the political environment in the United States, 70% of Central Bank reserve managers expressed reluctance to invest in USD, a significant rise from 31% in 2024. At the same time, 32% of Central Bank reserve managers plan to increase the proportion of gold allocation in the next 12 to 24 months, reaching the highest level in at least five years.
