Milan publicly criticized last year that officials with political backgrounds find it difficult to remain neutral on the board, specifically naming Chicago Fed President Evans (Goolsbee is a former Obama administration official) and questioning whether he can truly set politics aside, stating that his credibility as a board member is doubtful.
