Markets expect the Central Bank to be more cautious than other Central Bank yields rising

British government bond yields rise as the market expects the Central Bank to maintain high Intrerest rates for longer than previously expected. At the Central Bank of England's policy meeting on Thursday, two members voted in favour of raising interest rates. RBC Capital Market analysts said they still think the Central Bank will be more cautious than other Central Bank. The Central Bank is not expected to cut interest rates until August. Refinitiv data shows that the market is now expecting the Central Bank to cut interest rates by 101 basis points in 2024, down from 109 basis points before the Central Bank announced the rate cut.
