$IMX price dropped by 15.27%, Immutable received a Wells notice from the U.S. SEC and may face enforcement action



Gate News: Immutable (IMX) announced today that it has received a Wells notice from the US SEC last month and may face enforcement action. An Immutable spokesperson said, 'Although the SEC indiscriminately claims that tokens in the entire industry are securities, we believe that IMXToken is not. The notice only references statutory provisions and contains limited meaningful details.' As a result of this event, the price of $IMX has dropped by over 15%. In addition, approximately 32.47 million IMX tokens, accounting for 1.98% of the current circulation, were unlocked at 8:00 today.
