Recently, Wellgistics Health announced the launch of the XRP Implementation Program, marking an important step in the application of cryptocurrency in the pharmaceutical industry in America. According to a statement on Wednesday, the company will integrate the XRP Ledger (XRPL) into the payment infrastructure and fund management, aiming to provide practical benefits to over 6,500 independent pharmacies and more than 200 pharmaceutical manufacturers nationwide. Benefits of Integrating XRP for the Pharmaceutical Industry This program helps simplify the payment process between pharmacies and distributors, eliminating the obstacles and delays commonly seen in traditional banking systems and credit cards. According to Wellgistics Health, the system using XRP offers: Instant payment (instant settlement)Eliminate bank fees and card network chargesOperate 24/7, including weekends and holidaysFaster capital turnover for inventory trackingMonitor payment status in real timeDirect payment, no intermediaries required Brian Norton, CEO of Wellgistics Health, said: "This is a way to provide pharmacies with a faster and smarter financial tool." Cooperate With RxERP The XRP Implementation program operates concurrently with partner RxERP, responsible for onboarding pharmacies, processing transactions, and managing legal compliance. This collaboration helps build a blockchain financial ecosystem for the pharmaceutical industry, enhancing the efficiency and transparency of transactions. XRP Is Not Just a Payment Not only limited to payments, Wellgistics Health has also filed an S-1 with the SEC, outlining a strategy to use XRP in fund management and fundraising. According to the filing, the company plans to leverage XRP and XRPL to manage capital transparently and online, making financial operations more efficient. The next phase of the program will include: Onboarding pharmaceutical manufacturers to conduct direct B2B transactions on the blockchain. Launching Direct-to-Patient programs ( DTP ), allowing for direct delivery of medications to patients through integrated processes between pharmacies and manufacturers.
