Telegram founder faces criminal charges involving child abuse controversy

Recently, a shocking piece of news has emerged in the tech world. The founder of a well-known instant messaging platform is facing serious allegations from a former partner regarding child abuse. This founder is currently under investigation by Swiss authorities, and the details of the case are gradually coming to light.

It is reported that the founder was recently arrested in France, and the related accusations have attracted widespread attention. In addition to allegations of child abuse, there are also a series of legal disputes involving unpaid child support and a fierce custody battle.

The Geneva Public Prosecutor's Office initially refused to accept the case due to the complaint being submitted after the statutory deadline. However, after the former partner filed an appeal in May 2023, the court allowed the case to proceed last October. According to officials from the Geneva court, the case is currently still under review.

The former partner accused the founder of repeatedly harming their young child between 2021 and 2022, allegedly causing injuries including concussions and sleep disorders. As evidence, the former partner submitted communication records between the two from November 2021, as well as medical documents from April 2023, indicating that the child has continued to experience anxiety and sleep issues due to the violence.

The founder's representative declined to comment on this. The lawyer for the former partner confirmed the situation regarding the civil case but remained silent on the criminal complaint. Due to Swiss legal provisions, the relevant individuals have not been publicly named in the criminal case, but multiple details in the case can confirm the founder's identity, such as the birth year of their child and the case number of the civil child case.

Previously, the founder was granted bail after being prosecuted in France, but was prohibited from leaving the country. This series of events sparked widespread public discussion about the personal conduct of executives in the tech industry, while also highlighting the importance of protecting children's rights in family disputes.

That's outrageous; it can't be that extreme with gender discrimination favoring males.

The things in the tech circle are more melodramatic than domestic dramas.

The custody address has dipped to some suspicious trajectories. This matter is not that simple.
