The surgery my mom had involved implanting radiative particles (used to kill cancer cells) in her body. The doctor said it would take at least six months, during which she cannot come into contact with children or pregnant women, and adults need to be cautious, ideally keeping a distance of two meters. This means that even after my mom is discharged from the hospital, she cannot take care of her grandson and will have to wait until this year is over. So later when my mom is discharged, my wife will have to resign and stay home to take care of the child. Plus, I will also be working from home while looking after the baby. With us both taking care of the little one, we will have one less expense at home, and with my mom's chemotherapy and other related matters, all the responsibilities and obligations will fall on my shoulders. Just thinking about it is quite stressful, and I don't know if I can handle it.
