Taiyi Hackathon Launches in Seoul, Focusing on Web3 Financial Ecosystem Construction
From March 28 to 30, a hackathon called "Taiyi" will be held in Seoul, South Korea. This is the second event in a series of developer conferences aimed at building a compliance-safe Web3 financial ecosystem. The event is open to global developers, innovators, and Web3 enthusiasts, featuring four main competition tracks.
The four tracks are:
PayFi: Focused on cross-border payment protocols, physical asset tokenization, and AI quantitative strategies, aiming to connect traditional finance with Web3.
Social: Committed to developing social communication tools, decentralized content platforms, or community governance models.
AI Agent: Focused on developing on-chain information managers, asset management assistants, or intelligent collaborators for developers to simplify Web3 interaction processes.
AI Infra: Focus on developing VS Code plugins, data availability components, or building integration toolkits with AI frameworks.
This event has 6 awards, including one specifically for students. Award-winning projects have the opportunity to receive long-term funding and mentorship, and can join the relevant ecosystem for in-depth collaboration with the official team and industry partners.
In addition, the event launched a talent pool program, inviting developers from around the world to join. Developers who successfully join will receive rewards and exclusive NFTs. Participation methods include signing up for the hackathon and checking in on-site, or showcasing contributions to relevant open-source projects through their GitHub profiles.
This hackathon received support from multiple local developer communities and projects in South Korea, focusing on the areas of PayFi, physical assets, and stablecoins. Currently, more than 10 communities and projects have reached cooperation. The event also received special sponsorship from a well-known wallet provider.
Partners include multiple academic institutions, community organizations, and media platforms.
In addition to this event, three hackathons will be held this year. Furthermore, there will be a sharing session in Taipei on April 1.
The organizer behind this series of activities is a high-performance public blockchain that focuses on building a secure, open, and scalable Web3 ecosystem driven by both compliance and innovation. This public blockchain is dedicated to providing compliance-friendly and secure on-chain infrastructure for institutions and developers, connecting key areas such as BTCFi, PayFi, stablecoins, and physical assets, and promoting the deep integration of on-chain finance with the real-world economy.
Currently, the public chain has joined Super Chain, natively supporting physical assets and cross-chain interoperability, while providing institutional-level security standards and developer-friendly tools to accelerate the construction of Web3 financial infrastructure and promote the global application of blockchain technology. In the future, it will continue to evolve, building a logically unified and value-interconnected Super Chain ecosystem, working with more partners to promote the development of blockchain technology and share the future opportunities of decentralized finance.
