The U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee will release a discussion draft on CFTC digital commodity regulation.

[Coin World] On July 23, it was reported that the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee, responsible for overseeing the CFTC and involved in market structure legislation, plans to release its discussion draft in early September. The draft will focus on the CFTC's regulatory functions in the digital commodity space and aims for bipartisan cooperation. It is expected that multiple parties, including senior Democratic members, will participate in the drafting process. Yesterday, the Senate Banking Committee released a draft regarding the SEC's regulatory structure, and it is anticipated that these two bills will be merged in the future.
