Tesla Q2 Revenue Hits $22.5B, Bitcoin Adds $284M Gain

Tesla, the company owned by Elon Musk, has recorded a profit of $284 million on its Bitcoin holdings in Q2 2025, compared to a loss of $125 million in the first quarter of this year

The jump in the profit on Bitcoin holding came following BTC reaching new heights, and most recently, it attained an all-time high just below $125,000

Data available on BitcoinTreasuriesNet notes that Tesla Inc. holds 11,509 Bitcoins as of February 8, 2021, and, at the time of writing, they are valued at $1.36 billion, with an average cost of $33,539 per coin, representing a profit of 252.82%.

In Q2, 2025, Tesla reported a total revenue of $22.5 billion, which was a 12% year-over-year decline and slightly below the analysts’ estimates of $22.74 billion.

Regarding its Bitcoin holdings, Tesla recorded a $284 million unrealised gain due to a 30% price rally in Bitcoin, with its 11,509 BTC valued at approximately $1.2 billion.

For the third quarter of 2025, the estimated revenue of Tesla Inc. is $24.62 billion, and the revenue estimated for $26.46 billion last quarter of this year.

According to the data from TradingView, the reported revenue of Tesla Inc. was $97.69 billion, with a net income of $7.13 billion and a net margin of 7.30%.
