Overview of Finalist Projects for Sui Liquid Staking Hackathon

After more than 40 days of registration and strict selection, the final list of the Sui liquid staking Hackerthon has been announced. Six teams from each of the two tracks have successfully advanced to the Demo Day stage. Let's take a look at these outstanding projects.

Shortlisted Projects

1. Aftermath Finance

Aftermath Finance is a comprehensive decentralized trading platform based on Sui Move, offering CLOB settlement for spot, perpetual contracts, and options, CMMM for long-tail assets and indices, as well as built-in money market features.

2. DegenHive

DegenHive combines centralized liquidity DEX with the governance model of HiveVerse NFT, aiming to fully leverage the potential of $SUI on the Sui network.

3. Haedal Protocol

Haedal is a liquid staking protocol based on Sui, where users can stake $SUI to obtain haSUI, participate in ecological governance, and earn additional DeFi rewards.

4. Interest Protocol

Interest Protocol supports swapping and lending, liquidity providers can use LP tokens as collateral to borrow Sui Dollar stablecoin to hedge against impermanent loss.

5. SUISA

   SUISA (SUI Staking Aquarium) allows users to stake $SUI to obtain stSUI, and stSUI can also be used to mint NFTs.

6. Volo

Volo helps users maximize the utility and liquidity of SUI by providing voloSUI.

LST DeFi and tools track

1. Aftermath Finance

2. Bucket Protocol

Bucket Protocol is a non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free CDP protocol on Sui that allows users to collateralize with $SUI, $BTC, $ETH, and LST to obtain the required tokens at zero interest.

3. Desig

The Desig protocol provides a universal multi-signature solution for the entire chain, compatible with all DApps on EVM and non-EVM chains.

4. Kana Labs

Kana Labs provides user-friendly applications for DeFi and GameFi, jointly building the future of web3.

5. Legato

Legato provides fixed-rate solutions for liquid staking assets and predicts annualized interest rate fluctuations on Sui. The project won first place in the Tokyo WebX Move Hackathon in July 2023.

6. Wisp Swap

WispSwap is a decentralized trading and prediction market on Sui, utilizing an asymmetric concentrated liquidity DEX with automatically adjusted parameters, employing the Ve (3,3) economic model to forecast decentralized markets.

Demo Day Details

• Time: September 29, 12:00 - 15:00 (GMT+8)
• Format: Live streaming on the official Sui YouTube channel via StreamYard
• Process:
  • Participating teams: Each team has 10 minutes (5 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A)
  • Sponsor Showcase: Alibaba Cloud, MoveBit, OtterSec

Review Criteria

• The jury is selected by the Sui Foundation and partners from ecosystem partners, sponsors, and well-known projects.
• The score is calculated using preset criteria, removing the highest and lowest scores before computing the average.
• The results of the competition will be announced on October 2.
