A Chinese citizen was murdered in a luxury hotel on Jeju Island, South Korea, during a crypto transaction. The victim, who suffered multiple stab wounds, had brought 85 million won (~$60,000) for the deal, but the four attackers—three men and one woman—intended to rob him. After fleeing, one suspect surrendered, while the others were arrested at an airport and casino. Authorities are investigating whether the crime was premeditated and have warned of increasing risks in private crypto transactions.
