Q1: What is Walken about for anyone who is not familiar with the project?

Alexei: Walken is a free-to-play win-to-earn game built on the Solana blockchain. It brings sports and NFT together while focusing on the natural human drive to walk and get moving. By walking in real life, players earn gems (in-game soft currency, not crypto token), with the help of which upgrade their in-game characters — CAThletes — and compete to win $WLKN tokens. In turn, the tokens can be used to upgrade a CAThlete’s level (and stats) or buy NFT-items on the Marketplace to get extra stats points and win more competitions. The Walken team is currently working to add more ways to utilize the tokens (like cross-breeding, tournaments, etc.) in order to enhance gaming experience and empower the players to earn more.

Q2: What does it take to start playing?

Alexei: Great question! I want to admit here that we respect people’s freedom and we want to make more freedom for people and how can it be achieved? for sure by giving an ability to earn more!

So we’ve built the easiest way ever to be onboarded to the crypto world for the Users with even zero knowledge in crypto!

So in general We’ve been driven by the goals to make a product that is really free to play, democratizing DeFi and bringing more people to Web3 as we strongly believe that Web3 is the future. In line with these goals, Walken focuses on enabling everyone to join in and start walking & earning right from the start with zero investment. Q3: How do you think Walken could benefit the community beyond finances?

Alexei: Walken is move2earn project first of all, so in order to succeed players have to move. And physical activity is immensely beneficial for health! Trust us, we know something about health having been running an eco of wellness apps :) We’re seeing players’ step counts increasing since they started to play Walken, and the people in the team also say they are much more motivated to get moving now! You know, Walken gives a kind of extra incentive to go for a walk, with each step getting your CAThlete closer to the next level, to unlocking further Leagues and to defeating more rivals!

Next, we are looking to truly democratize WEB3 and DeFi, enabling people with little or no knowledge of blockchain and NFT tech to try and earn their first income. Walken is set to remove the DeFi barriers and onboard millions of new players into Web3 cause Web3 is the future!

Q4: Any expert advice that you could share as to how to play and earn most effectively?

And here comes some expert advice! First, select a discipline to compete carefully.
