How to Start a Live Stream or Space?
Guidance and Steps
▶ Submit Application for Live Stream
1) Click here to apply for the live; or go to [➀ Moments] - [➁ Live], then click the “Go Live” button in the upper right corner to access the application page.
2) Select [➂ Live], fill in the required details, and link relevant tokens to your live stream based on your content (e.g., $BTC). After verifying all information, click [④ Submit].
3) After submitting, tap “Application History” icon in the upper right corner to check the review status. Once approved, click “Small TV” icon to go to “Live Record” page and tap [➄ Start Now] to start streaming.
Tips: By linking tokens to your live stream, it will appear on the relevant K-line page, enhancing visibility and drawing more viewers.
▶ Live Stream Cover Image
1) Recommended Size: 800x456（16:9）
2) Requirements: The cover image must be industry-related and should not include the Gate logo, logos of other social media platforms, personal contact information, or any unrelated or non-compliant elements.
3) Suggestion: Highlight the live stream theme on the cover image to quickly attract viewers. Refer to the following standards:

▶ Submit Application for GateLive Space
1) Click here to apply for the live; or go to [➀ Moments] - [➁ Live], then click the “Go Live” button in the upper right corner to access the application page.
2) Select [➂ Space], fill in the Space details, and click [④ Submit Application] after ensuring all information is accurate.
3) After submitting, you’ll receive a prompt review response. Check the review status by tapping the [➄ Application History] icon in the upper right corner. Once approved, click [➅ Start Now] to launch your Space.

▶ Start Live Streaming on App
1.After approval, click the live preview on the host page to enter your live room.
2.Click “square” to start. (The live streaming interface for the streamer is as follows.)
① From left to right you can see “Face Filter”, “Switch Camera” and “Close Streaming”.
After clicking on “Close Streaming”, you will be asked to confirm that you want to stop the live streaming; If you clicked on “Close Streaming” by mistake, click on “Continue Streaming” to go back.
② Top Gifters: The top 10 viewers who have given the most rewards to the streamer are shown here.
③ From left to right you can view:
current viewers; the cumulative viewers; Num. of “likes”.
④ From top to bottom:
Record: you can record the screen on the phone. When you start recording the screen, “Resting” will be displayed on the screen. Then you just need to go to the page you want to record.
Note: Please protect your private information while recording your screen to eliminate the possibility of your assets getting stolen due to sensitive information getting leaked.
When live streaming yourself playing large-size games, please make sure that you have a good internet connection, in case you go offline during the stream. Currently, screen recording is only possible on Android phones.

Comment: you can check the comments and chat with your viewers
Red Packet: send red packets to your viewers
Muting management: you can check the muted viewers and undo the operation
Screen mirroring: click to change your screen
Share:
click “share link” to copy the live room URL;
click “scan QR code & share” to get a poster;
Other users can join your room by clicking the link or scanning QR code.

▶ How to Set Exclusive Subscription?(Web)
1.Log in to your Gate account. Hover your cursor over “Moments” on the navigation bar and click “Gate Post”.
2.Click “Profile”
3.Click “My creation center” to enter the “Subscribers Only” page.
4.Click “Subscription Plans” in the top-right corner.
①Customize your subscription plan and confirm.
1)Users get to decide the subscription fee as they prefer, but it should not be less than 0.1 GT.
2)Choose a discount rate for auto-renew. Discount rates available: 0%, 10%, 20%… 90%. *Users who check auto-renew can continuously enjoy the set discount and can choose to stop auto-renewing when a term ends.
3)A price uplift: auto-renew at the same previous price.
4)A price decrease: auto-renew at the new lower price when a new term begins.
② [Subscriptions]: Click to view details of all users who have subscribed to you.
[Income records]: Click to view your income records arising from the subscription feature.
5.Steps to make posts for “Subscription Only”:
Click “All People” - “Subscription Only” to make your posts exclusive to your subscribers.

*Please upgrade your app to version 6.6 or above before use.
1.Click the icon in the top-left corner.
2.Click “Profile and Settings”.
3.Click “Personal Page”.
4.Click the “My Creation Center”.
5.Click “Turn On Now”
6.Customize your subion plan and click “Turn On Now”.
7.Details of “Exclusive Subion” :
① [Subion List] Click to view details of all users who have subscribed to you.
② [Income Records] Click to view your income records arising from the subion feature.
③ [Settings] Click to modify your subion plan.
8.Steps to make posts for “Exclusive Subion”:
①Click the bottom-right button to choose target users who can view them.
②Check “Exclusive Subion”.
Note: If you need to set the Live permission to “Subscribers Only”, just upgrade the app to the latest version and enable the “Subscribers Only” option on the “Apply for a Live” page (You need to activate the subscription function to use the setting “Subscribers Only”).
Notice
1.It is suggested to apply for a stream 2 hours in advance;
2.It is forbidden to show any social media contact information in the live stream;
3.Please start the live stream on time and use Gate trading page (professional version) for market analysis. In addition, please make the live stream active and positive, do not play unauthorized recordings of live streams. If you have any problems, feel free to contact GateLive official admin;
4.It is prohibited to post referral links or guide existing users to create new accounts, which are considered unauthorized traffic diversion behaviors.
5.It is prohibited to display or mention comments, bullet screen content outside the platform or disclose personal contact information. If a user posts contact information in the chatroom, you must promptly stop and delete the comment, or you will be considered in violation.
6.It is prohibited to promote books, mining machines, or products unrelated to the platform.
7.During the livestream, please clarify: “This livestream represents personal views only and does not reflect the official position of Gate.”
Anyone who violates the above regulations will be given a warning or punishment. The duration of the punishment depends on the exact situation.
